A working meeting was held at the premises of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, where the Chamber’s Executive Director, Antoni Peshev, along with his associates, welcomed representatives from the Konya Chamber of Industry, Republic of Türkiye.
The meeting focused on opportunities to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, with particular emphasis on strengthening trade, joint investments, and the sharing of best practices between Macedonian and Turkish companies.
Peshev highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral relations and the potential of the Macedonian economy to attract foreign investment. He noted that although Macedonia is a small country, it represents an excellent destination for investment and cooperation, especially due to its strategic geographical location.
Fatih Bayraktar, Secretary General of the Konya Chamber of Industry, expressed his interest in deepening cooperation and fostering networking between companies from both countries—particularly in the mechanical engineering and IT sectors—as well as in promoting mutual knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration on joint projects.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to initiate concrete activities and organize business forums that will enable direct communication and networking between companies from both countries. Additionally, it was agreed to facilitate the participation of member companies of the Economic Chamber in upcoming trade fairs in Konya under preferential conditions.
