Economic Chamber of North Macedonia Becomes First Accredited Institution for Practical Education Mentor Training

09/10/2026

|

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia is the country's first accredited institution for organizing and delivering training for practical education mentors. Under the Accreditation Decision issued by the Ministry of Education and Science on 07 October 2026, the Chamber received official confirmation that it fulfills all requirements to conduct these training programs.

The accreditation represents a significant milestone in upgrading the quality of practical education and recognizes the Chamber's extensive experience in mentor development and aligning education with business needs.

Mentors play a pivotal role in work-based learning. They guide students in mastering practical assignments, share their professional expertise, and help them cultivate occupational skills, workplace habits, and a responsible approach to work. Consequently, in addition to technical competencies, mentors must possess pedagogical, psychological, and methodological knowledge and skills for working with students.

Through these training programs, the Chamber will continue preparing mentors to plan and execute practical training, monitor student progress, and collaborate with vocational schools. This establishes the prerequisites for higher-quality learning within real-world workplace environments and equips students with competencies tailored to employer needs.

Investing in competent mentors is an investment in high-quality practical education and in the future skilled labor of companies. With this accreditation, the Chamber further solidifies its role as a key bridge between the business community and educational institutions in developing business-ready talent.
