Azeski in the foreword: A masterpiece with practical value

The publishing house Third Ear and its owner, Ivo Jankovski, promoted their latest monograph titled Magical Macedonian Sights. At the launch event, it was said that the book takes the reader on a journey through time, serving as a window into the history, culture, and beauty of the country. The volume reminds us how precious Macedonia is, structured in eight chapters and authored by several contributors.

This is the publisher’s second such book. The first, Beautiful Macedonia, was released 19 years ago, in 2006, and was also presented at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the world’s largest book event.

The foreword to Magical Macedonian Sights was written by Branko Azeski, the Macedonian Chamber leader. Among other things, he writes: “This masterpiece offers practical applications in the areas of national wealth, cultural heritage, business activity, and branding, serving as a tool for the promotion and development of enterprises. The opening of this book carries practical value in that every reader will be informed about everything beautiful in Macedonia—from landmarks and events to the people themselves. In the end, I can freely say: all that you will read, and I hope also see, means nothing without the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, who give soul, excitement, and pleasure to the things we speak about. And that is the essence of life. For that—it is worth living.”

Azeski emphasizes that he has always been practical, proposing innovative solutions, encouraging others to offer new ideas, and supporting them publicly. He adds: “I am thrilled whenever I see an example where real value can be expressed, beyond height, distance, or speed. That, after all, is the universal hallmark of the Olympic Games as the highest achievement in the world.”

As with many of his public statements, Azeski concludes his foreword with a P.S., writing: “Along with this, I also wish you to visit other countries around the world, because I am convinced that only then will you be able to freely say: ‘It is an honor and a pleasure that I am from Macedonia.’”
