A delegation of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia attended the ceremony on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana, one of the most prestigious economics faculties in Slovenia and the wider Central and South-East European region. Founded after the Second World War, the institution has gradually developed into a modern, internationally oriented business school. The faculty is regularly ranked among the top 95 higher education institutions in Europe according to the Financial Times ranking. It holds the three most prestigious international accreditations for business schools—AACSB International, EQUIS, and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). Only a small percentage of business schools worldwide possess all three accreditations, placing the faculty among the global elite of business education. The event was also addressed by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar.

The President of the Economic Chamber, Branko Azeski, in his capacity as a member of the Faculty’s Advisory Board—a body composed of distinguished business leaders, experts, and professors—actively participated in the discussion at today’s meeting dedicated to the long-term strategy of the institution and the challenges related to teaching and learning methods in the new era of intensive use of artificial intelligence. It was emphasized that artificial intelligence should be used wisely to enhance rather than undermine the analytical and critical thinking of future generations of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Members of the Advisory Board of the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana also include Ana Paula Africano S. Silva (University of Porto), Prof. Anna Blombäck (Jönköping International Business School), Prof. Hannah Holmes (Manchester Metropolitan University), Paola Papanicolaou (Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group), Prof. Markus Rudolf (Otto Beisheim School of Management, Düsseldorf), Prof. Rupert Sausgruber (Rector of the Vienna University of Economics and Business), Janez Škrabec (General Manager of Riko d.o.o., Slovenia), Branko Žibret (Kearney, Austria), and Valter Leban (President of the Management Board and CEO of Kolektor d.d., Slovenia).
