To mark the launch of the second season of the Business Club podcast, the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, hosted an informal gathering at the iconic Uranija restaurant with participants from the first season of the podcast, as well as several guests featured in the upcoming season.
“The Business Club podcast was created with the sole purpose of promoting positive business stories and showcasing Macedonian entrepreneurs who, despite the challenges brought by the health, energy, and economic crises, managed to persevere without laying off employees and continued to invest in building a stronger Macedonian economy,” said President Azeski.
He added: “These young business leaders, through their professional careers, serve as role models and inspiration for the younger generations, and I believe that over the next decade, they will help drive GDP growth from 4% to 7%.”
The podcast serves as an open platform for dialogue and new perspectives on current economic challenges, bringing the experiences of the real sector closer to the wider public.
In his address, President Azeski noted that during the first season, 21 participants shared their unique experiences and expertise, providing valuable insights into three key themes: Exports – creating value-added products to strengthen competitiveness and open access to new European and global markets; Education – developing skilled labor aligned with business needs; Regional cooperation – joint approach to the global market.
The first season of the podcast reached over 1.6 million views on Facebook alone, a testament to its influence and popularity.
“The second season will introduce fresh topics and business ideas, featuring three groups of guests,” announced Azeski. “The first group will include Macedonian managers and younger-generation entrepreneurs who will discuss the new focal themes — exports, infrastructure, and investments. The second group will feature prominent business leaders from neighboring countries who have successfully elevated their brands to the European and even global level. The third group will include influential Macedonian business figures who have not previously appeared in the public eye,” he added.
The Business Club podcast is a joint initiative of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia and President Branko Azeski, produced in collaboration with the production company Third Ear, founded by Ivo Jankoski, who is also the creator and producer of the series.
The collaboration between these two experienced and professional entities — the Chamber with over 103 years of institutional experience, and Third Ear with more than 35 years of presence in the Macedonian media space — guarantees high quality, credibility, and professionalism in the podcast’s production.
While addressing serious economic topics, the podcast maintains an informal tone and an open, honest dialogue with influential guests who have a real impact on the Macedonian economy. The insider perspective of President Azeski offers a deep and authentic insight into the economic processes and challenges faced by companies.
