Without developed transport and energy infrastructure, meaningful economic progress cannot be expected in any country.
Infrastructure projects do not merely revitalize construction; they stimulate supporting industries, form the foundation for creating new jobs, and drive GDP growth.
The Chamber calls on the state to develop an infrastructure strategy backed by all stakeholders, offering its own assistance in preparing analytical reports and pinpointing the country's infrastructure bottlenecks.
The Chamber identifies three pivotal points for successful investment activity in infrastructure projects:
1. Execution of capital investments;
2. Accountability for delays and the untimely delivery of infrastructure projects;
3. Decentralization to ensure balanced regional development.
A pragmatic approach is essential to harness the potential of domestic construction firms and secure a continuous pipeline of work for them on state-funded infrastructure projects, as this is crucial to reviving the domestic economy.
