On 5 December 2024, a group of master's students in business law from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje visited the Permanent Court of Arbitration attached to the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia.

The purpose of this visit was to familiarize students with the operations, organization, and jurisdiction of the arbitration court, as well as to provide them with insights into the practical application of arbitration proceedings for dispute resolution.

During the visit, the students engaged in discussions with the President of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, Dr. Elena Milevska-Sthrbevskа, who presented practical examples of arbitration cases and explained procedural rules. She also emphasized the importance of arbitration as an alternative method for resolving disputes between business entities.

This activity was organized in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Tatjana Zoroska-Kamilovska from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” to spark the interest of young legal professionals in arbitration and to discuss the advantages and challenges faced by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in its work.

The Permanent Court of Arbitration attached to the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia and the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” will continue their collaboration and exchange of experiences to enhance the practical knowledge of students and to encourage their professional development.
