On 14 October 2025, at the invitation of the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, the Chamber’s Management Board held a working meeting with the newly established Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development, and Entrepreneurship (INOVA), with the goal of presenting the real needs of the business community and working together toward a shared objective — fostering economic and business growth in the country.
During the meeting, the Director of INOVA, Daniela Dimovska, emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation to support companies in their growth and development through new technologies and innovation. She presented the preparatory activities underway for the Agency’s operational launch next year. Irena Gjоrgievska, Advisor at INOVA, outlined part of the planned framework for the Support Program currently being developed, which will include various initiatives to assist businesses.

President Branko Azeski highlighted the need for a genuine, practical, and continuous collaboration between the two institutions as an essential process that can yield tangible and measurable effects on the overall economy. He particularly underlined the shared mission guiding both institutions — one that can only be achieved if the approaches of both the Chamber and INOVA evolve in a coordinated and synergistic manner.

The participants exchanged ideas on potential joint projects that could be incorporated into next year’s program, given that the program is currently in preparation.
The meeting concluded with agreed points and future joint actions, including: swift consolidation and implementation of the necessary administrative procedures to establish conditions for INOVA’s operational launch; a shift toward a continuous, collaborative approach based on regular communication and information exchange between both institutions; appointment of a Chamber Management Board member responsible for ongoing communication and information sharing about INOVA’s company support activities; and the recognition of the need for a larger state support budget, aligned with strategic goals for economic growth, ensuring transparency and measurable impact of allocated funds to enable sustainable decision-making in the future.
